For Chef Jeffery Thomas, food begins with memory, heritage, and the ingredients that connect us to where we come from.
Born and raised in the Virgin Islands, Chef Thomas developed his culinary foundation in his mother's kitchen, surrounded by family recipes rich with flavor, memory, and meaning. His culinary voice was shaped by the bold, soulful flavors of West Indian cuisine and later refined through years of classical training and experience in Atlanta's acclaimed kitchens.
For Southern Harvest, Chef Thomas turns his attention to the ingredients and traditions of the American South, interpreting them through his own culinary perspective.
